Young Mary Kathryn (MK) returns to the house of his eccentric scientist father, but his all-consuming quest to find a small civilization in the surrounding woods leads them apart. However, MK soon finds himself shrunken Tara is the queen of the forest, who was mortally wounded in rotting Boggans and charged to deliver the new Queen of the supporting structure in a safe place. Along with veteran fighter Leafman, two clams and stupid young Maverick, MK agrees to help with this.
